Hi there! I am Diana :) My passion in life (next to my loved ones) is travelling and meeting new people, showing others the beauty of the world, art in various forms.

My private guided day tours are experiences that are unique and are a great way to do an interesting activity without being overwhelmed. You get to do something only few other travellers would get to do and a chance to gain a local perspective. As your guide, I want to open you the door to Ireland's untouched beauty, from scenic cliffs to fairytale like forests and would point out many details you wouldn’t uncover on your own. You might also like to do an activity which can be difficult without local knowledge, like hiking or horse riding, - I am here to help and guide you.  I’ll handle all the planning and the driving on the left hand side of the road, so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak in the beautiful sights and compelling stories.

Ireland won’t leave you untouched and I will be delighted to be your guide and ‘local expert’ here. Hope to see you on one of my trips to the heart and soul of our beautiful country!

I enjoyed hiking with Diana in Wicklow mountains very much, it exceeded my expectations. The tour was well planned and very thought through, from the very first message exchange till the final drop-off at the Dart station + snack and raincoat support :) It was indeed the beginner level hike, there were of course some challenging places but it was totally ok and I felt very comfortable all the way up and back. Diana cares of both fun and comfort. Diana shared a lot of insights about the area, wildlife and history that enriched my enjoyment of the place. Totally recommend.

Absolutely loved our private tour with Gateway To Ireland. Diana was so helpful with bringing together a day of places we wanted to visit and Brian our guide was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the day truly wonderful. Would definitely recommend!!

Our private tour guide was Diana. She picked us up at our Hotel in Temple Bar and spent the day guiding us through some history of a few Boyne Valley Sights: The Hill of Tara, Trim Castle, and Bective Abbey. The Trim Castle Tour was given by an official guide, and was excellent. It was cold, rainy, and sometimes sunny. Diana took good care of us. This was a great way to spend a day with someone else driving and giving expert knowledge of some of the most ancient and historic sights in Ireland. The private tour was well worth the ticket price. We stopped in the village of Trim, near the Trim Castle—had a beautiful homemade soup between stops. We were in a sweet little family luncheonette with excellent service. The HOT soup and the HOT pot of Tea were greatly appreciated on this cold and damp day. (Later in the evening, after the tour, we enjoyed a Guinness) Diana could not have been nicer! EXCELLENT GUIDE.

This private tour was the perfect way to explore the Wicklow Mountains. My in-laws were visiting from abroad and have some mobility limitations, so a private tour was ideal. Diana's flexibility, knowledge, and friendly personality made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a personalized and unforgettable experience in Wicklow.

Diana was a fantastic guide! We researched the Wicklow mountains before but that didn’t do this tour justice. Not only was the scenery beautiful, but Diana was a fantastic guide even feeling like part of our group.

Diana offered a fantastic experience to Cashel Rock, as well as private tour at the local village museum by the owner, and a castle tour. She is a wonderful host and knowledgeable. She is diligent and committed to providing a premiere tour experience starting with our pick up at our hotel. We will be back, and we will be booking with Diana in the future. We loved all the sites we visited, learned a lot, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Very well done and a highly valued experience. Many thanks!

Great hike to Wicklow Head with Gateway to Ireland Tours. Diana is an awesome guide with great stories about the area and local wildlife. She really feels the audience and sets the hike's pace accordingly. I was there with my 10-year old kid. He was happy - the best indication of the quality.

I was on this group guided hike in Wicklow. The tour was helpful because i don't have a car and the guide picked me up at dart station and brought back after. Also guide’s insights about history, plants, etc were valuable. Nature sights are terrific! Everything was well organized.

We had a lovely Sunday experience together with Diana at Wicklow Cliff Walk. She is a great organizer and a passionate person interested in what she is doing. Diana met us at Dart station and drove us to a convenient starting point. The pace of the hike was customized to our group so we had plenty of time for enjoying the views, watching birds and grey seals.
