I’m a native to Copenhagen, having lived in the city all my life. My background is a master’s degree in history and Danish literature and since I’ve always loved fairy tales and storytelling, I wrote my thesis on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved tale ‘The Little Mermaid’. After graduating I decided to follow my passion for history and culture, so I became a tour guide and have now been working as a guide in Copenhagen for 10 years. I started out working for various local tour companies and museums, and for the last 5 years as an independent tour guide. The main topics of my tours are Copenhagen’s history, Danish food culture and tasting tours, royal castles, Danish happiness and society, Jewish history, and Hans Christian Andersen. I work mainly in Copenhagen, but also organize trips to Odense, Roskilde, Møns Klint, Elsinore/Kronborg Castle, and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

My tours are highly flexible and can be customized to suit most needs, and my focus is always on giving you a memorable experience with the best that Denmark has to offer.

Feel free to reach out to me for any request, I can’t wait to share my beautiful country with you!
