Overview

Your private walking tour starts at Landungsbrücken with a view of the Elbe and the port of Hamburg. At first your guide will take you down unterneath the river Elbe - you will go down by into the Old Elbe Tunnel and discover this amazing example of engineering in the 19th century.

Afterwards, you will experience the lively Portuguese quarter on the way to the city hall and explore a Hamburg landmark, St. Michaelis Church, "Michel" as this main church is called here. Behind the church your guide will bring you back into the 17th century and explan how Hamburgers lived at this time.

You will meet the Zitronen-Jette, enter an island in Hamburg's city centre and stroll through Hamburg's most expensive shopping street. At the end, you will reach our magnificent neo-Renaissance town hall.
