After stopping at the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, the jewel of Manueline Art, taste the local crunchy custard tarts, sprinkled with one of the favourite spices which the navigators brought from Asia: cinnamon.
Lisbon: City centre - panoramic drive by Liberdade Avenue, Restauradores Square, Rossio Square, Baixa (downtown), Comércio Square, Chiado, Bairro Alto, Estrela and Alcântara. (Possibility of 2 photo stops. )
In Belém neighborhood, photo stop at the Belém Tower (exterior) and at the Jerónimos' Monastery (exterior) and visit the interior of the Old Factory of custard tarts.
**NOTE: Belém Tower and Jerónimos' Monastery close on Mondays, Jan 1st, May 1st, Easter Sunday, Jun 13th, Dec 25th.
Jerónimos Monastery's Church closes on Mondays (all day) and on Sunday mornings (only opens at 2PM).
Other religious ceremonies or governmental events (no dates announced much ahead of time) might affect the normal schedules.
