Florence Highlights: half a day guided tour
Overview
If you are in Florence for the first time, I recommend starting with this walking tour.
We will visit the most important sites and monuments. You will have the opportunity to discover the history of the city, understand how and why the Renaissance was born, who the Medici were, and hear about the most significant artists, traditions, and some curiosities.
There will also be a lot of practical info to make it easier for you to explore on your own as well. The visit takes place outdoors, so you don't need to buy any tickets.
The tour can be easily adapted for children with more curiosities, fun stories, etc.
This is a sample itinerary for the tour, some of which may change depending on weather conditions, events in the city, and the like.
