Overview
Quick Panoramic Tour of Colombo and then to Keleniya Ancient Buddhist Temple. After drive to Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to the turtle conservation project. Later drive to Balapitiya for a Boat Safari in the Rive Madu. Exciting sightings and experiences are waiting on your way!
- Starts from Colombo / Airport /Sea Port
- Pick up you at 7:30 am. Do the Colombo city tour. Mostly panoramic and some stops.
- Visit to Keleniya ancient Buddhist temple.
- On the way we can stop if found interesting things like King Coconut, local fruits like mangosteen, mango, etc. (seasonal)
- Lunch in a local restaurant
- After that, we take the highway to Kosgoda, and visit the hatchery, pictures are allowed but apply animal freedom.
- Leave for Balapitiya, the next village about 15 15-minute drive from the hatchery.
- Enjoy the Boat safari for about 1 hour 30 minutes on the boat.
- At the end, return to Colombo and drop you off at the hotel or port.
Note: The itinerary is to be reversed depending on the traffic condition of the day, starting from Colombo to Madu River and last will be Keleniya Temple and Colombo city.
