Overview
Fall under the magical spell of the breathtaking area of Ayutthaya. where you can explore the temples of this area while hearing historical facts and stories. Ayutthaya is 76 kilometres north of Bangkok, boasts numerous magnificent ruins, and is an island at the confluence of three rivers: Chao Phraya River, Lopburi River and Pa Sak River. The South of Ayutthaya where the Chao Phraya River flows, there are a diverse of local communities, and traditional Buddhist temple exist there.
I have created this tour as an introduction to Ayutthaya's rich cultural heritage and the other sights. Apart from discovering the different local cultures, you will experience Ayutthaya's highlights, local people's way of life, and a variety of local snacks.
Go outside of Bangkok to Ayutthaya on a comfortable ride, with a private car or minivan that will take you to the ancient capital of Siam or Thailand as we know it now. Enjoy the trip through the postcard-like surroundings and listen to stories your local host has in store for you. Get ready to encounter the most important temple in the Ayutthaya Kingdom
08.00am - We meet up at your hotel
09.15am - Arrive Ayutthaya The first visit Wat Chaiwattanaram, one of the most impressive Buddhist temple on the west bank of Chao Phraya River
10.00am - The second Visit Wat Mahathat or Temple of the Great Relics - The Buddha head in the tree roots
11.00am - Wat Phra Si Sanphet - The holiest temple on the site of the old Royal Palace in Thailand's ancient capital of Ayutthaya
12.00pm - Take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch at a riverside restaurant
01.00pm - Wat Yai Chai Mongkol features a large Stupa, built after King Naresuan's Victory over the Burmese
02.30pm - It's time to return to Bangkok
